This course shows how the 4G standard works including access network and core network. It addresses both the radio interface and the operation of the fixed network. After a brief overview of network architecture and Services defined with 3GPP, we will focus on 4G radio interface with several multi-access mechanisms. Access and NAS control procedures will also be detailed.
